– She dreamt of him before ever meeting him.
– He found her when she needed him the most.

When Leona sees the guy she dreamt about, she decides not to approach him out of bizarreness of the whole situation. Faith, on the other hand, seems to beg the differ, and redirects him, Nathaniel, toward Leona again in her time of need.

Nathaniel, a police officer who’s been on the hunt to find his little brother’s killer for over a year now, turns out to be a dream guy in real life too. And while things are going great between him and Leona, someone is out to ruin his life and crush his dream to avenge Isaac’s, death.

Will their love conquer all obstacles that are about to come their way?

Find out in Incredible Dreams…

A short time later, a noise in the living room woke me up. I had to blink a few times before I could fully open my eyes but as they opened, I could make out a silhouette standing in the corner of the room. It appeared to be a man, fully dressed in black. “Nate,” I called out, hoping it was him. There was no answer, and his powerful stare seemed to drain my will power.

A cold air rushed through my body just seconds before it went numb. The figure began walking slowly towards me and, had I not known better, I would almost think that he was floating—something like they do in those creepy horror movies.

Please, get it together, Leona. Focus on moving your body and get ready to run.

My phone rang then, and I wanted to pick it up so badly that I could imagine myself doing it. But as much as I tried to, I still couldn’t move anything but my eyes. The closer he got to me, the more desperate I became to get my body to move. I couldn’t take it anymore and I sure as hell wasn’t going to sit by and watch him attack me, so I closed my eyes and started praying that he would just get it over with already. Breaking eye contact did wonders. I could feel my muscles relaxing and a few seconds later, I didn’t feel as drawn to him anymore; I could finally move.

I was just about to make my grand escape when my phone started ringing again and this time, I could turn to see Nathaniel’s name on the Caller ID. I was so glad! I avoided eye contact with whoever was coming my way and answered quickly. “Na-Nate there’s someone in the house with me–” was all I could manage before said person grabbed a hold of me and knocked the phone right out of my hand.

“Be still,” his creepy voice mocked me while I attempted to free myself from his tight grip.

Next thing I heard was the sound of the front door breaking down. Nathaniel burst into the room with his Glock in extended hands. “Let go of her, you son of a bitch!”

Alexandra walked into the living room right after him with a baseball bat in her hand. “What the hell is going on in here?” Her eyes almost popped out of her head when she saw me in the stranger’s clutches. “Let go of her!” she yelled angrily as she took a step towards the man.

The coward took advantage of the situation by pushing me into Nate’s arms and disappeared into the darkness. Alex didn’t waste any time and tried to rush after him, only to be stopped by Nate. “No Alexandra, stay with Leona, and the two of you go check on Alyssa for me.”

Nate was fuming all the way over to Alyssa’s bedroom. “Did he hurt you? Did he touch you? Did you see his face?” I’d never seen him so angry, the man was literally shaking with fury as he told me: “Stay here, okay … I’m gonna go and check out the house.”

I shook my head. “No! Are you crazy? I am not going to leave you out here alone, Nate.”

But it wasn’t up for debate. “I’m serious, Leona, even if you hear anything don’t come out, okay? Please, promise me that you won’t try to interfere; I need you and the girls safe.”

I reluctantly promised him and proceed to knock on Aly’s door … there was no answer. Not wanting to wait for an invitation, I walked in and turned on the lights, and as I did so, the scene in front of me made my heart turn to ice. Alyssa was sound asleep, but there was someone in the room with her. He was standing beside her and was touching and smelling her. He turned his face to look at me and dropped his hand to his side. It was him. Still wrapped up in black clothes and some kind of mask on his face that only showed his eyes and his mouth. He started walking towards me with a creepy grin and the way he did it made my skin crawl.

I screamed. I screamed so loud that my own ears began to whistle. Alyssa woke up in a haze and started screaming alongside me when she saw him. The man stopped in his tracks, turned back around and quickly put one hand around Aly’s neck and the other over her nose and her mouth to stop her from screaming her lungs out.

Alexandra snapped out of her shock and lunged at him with the bat. He ducked and it went straight over his head. Her surprise attack knocked him off balance and he let go of Alyssa before he hit the floor. Before he had the chance to stand up, I jumped on him from behind and started pummeling him with my fists. But he was too big and in seconds, he’d flipped me over and had me pinned.

Alexandra sneaked up on him again, but he sensed the move and yanked the bat from her grip. Screaming, he took a swing at her and cracked her right on the knee with it. She stifled her grimace and pulled a kitchen knife from her back pocket and brandished it in the air. “Let go of her, you bastard!” she yelled.

The intruder smiled and tightened his grip on me. This infuriated Alex even more and she ran at him with the blade. Unable to keep hold of the bat and me, without getting stabbed, he let go of us both and tripped Alex with his foot, causing her to stumble. He took advantage of her fall and grabbed her by both wrists. She tried to struggle out of his grip, but he stole her protection and held the blade against her throat. As he pushed the metal against her skin, Nate appeared with his Glock on the side of the stranger’s head.

“Drop the knife and step away from her. Now!” he ordered.

My first romance suspense! Felida created a PYT (pretty young thing) in Nate, a young and sexy law enforcer. The heroine Leona goes on such a ride with suspenseful twists and turns, never leaving a dull moment in the journey. The chemistry between Nate and Leona is steamy. The best thing about this book is the way Felida weaves in multicultural characters. You see a little bit of every culture and race. I love it! My best to S.E.! ~ 5 Stars, Love Belvin

S.E Felida Incredible Dreams was “Absolutely Astounding”. It was like watching a movie unfold capturing every scene perfectly. From the amazing plot, to the impressive imagery and visualizations throughout the story “Simply Brilliant”. Incredible Dreams weaves together a mysterious storyline and addresses Leona’s childhood struggles, which leads to her mistrust in men. Meeting Nathaniel the man of her dreams, Leona is instantly enthralled. Nathaniel is the epitome of a soul mate; he is compassionate, sexy, strong and has a beautiful soul. Leona is beautiful, sweet, caring, and loves with her whole heart. The main couple share this intense connection that is beyond words, their souls are connected. You feel their love for each other despite their past and the pain they endured. Leona’s love is an addiction to Nathaniel in its rarest form; their love is completely consuming mind, body and soul. Every character in this story is haunted by their past in some way shape or form, they all have scars that they try to conceal emotionally. Leona, Alyssa, Alexandra and Naomi are true soul sisters that are determined to get through life with each other’s support. Their bond is truly amazing and relatable. Incredible Dreams is romantic, sexy, suspenseful, and highly emotional. It is a story that signifies that we all get second chances at loving and living. S.E Felida, I am beyond speechless how you captured each emotion effortlessly pain, heartache, tragedy, abuse, family friendship and love and turned it into one of the most beautiful stories I have read. Omg the ending off the story took me by surprise, I think I had a mini heart attack but I loved every minute off it. Perfection. Cannot wait to read Book Two Irrational Behavior. ~ 5 Stars, Stracey Charran Ishwar

About the Book

When Ex-DEMON pilot Jon Carlson meets beautiful humanitarian Rachel, it’s a match made in HEAVEN. Literally, because Rachel’s an ANGEL. She’s also an AI controlled android of immense power and capability. As Jon finds himself drawn into the world of these enigmatic creations of mankind, he unknowingly becomes involved in a program to create autonomous superweapons intended to fight the next war.

Now was time for me to try out my well-rehearsed chivalry. They say it’s dead, but the attitude works.

‘No, you were trying to help me. I really should have been sedated back there, and I know it. I’d probably be all right by now and not have to deal with the muscular problems later if I’d just taken a little nap.’

She looked up at me, her expression searching for something in my words.

‘And I, well, I just wanted to say thanks.’

Janet smiled at that, the same smile that had made me feel better earlier when I was nervous. ‘Yeah, all right, you’re forgiven. I take it your partner pulled you out unexpectedly?’

‘What was your clue?’ I asked.

‘The part when Jeremy said, “Fuck it all, I can’t even see him now. Janet, dope him up because he’s coming out unexpectedly.”’ Janet made a funny-sounding deep voice as she said it, which I took to be an impersonation of Jeremy.

‘But you don’t know how close you came to receiving your own bruises,’ she warned, and her face hardened.

Still, I was on a roll now and knew it.

‘Yeah, thanks for that, or rather, not doing that. Why didn’t you try to jab me again?’ I asked.

‘I couldn’t find the syringe quickly enough,’ Janet said, nodding.

‘Can I make it up to you?’ I asked.

She raised an eyebrow. ‘Like how?’

I thought about it. I probably looked kind of stupid, standing here, chatting up a para while both my arms hung from my shoulders like dead flesh, except for the occasional spasmodic movement.

‘I don’t know, send a pizza, take you out for lunch, something to apologise?’ I suggested.

‘I don’t know, this is a pretty big bruise,’ she said, looking at the side of her arm. ‘I think maybe a full dinner apology is in order.’

That wasn’t what I expected, but it sounded better than what I had in mind.

‘Sure, but ah, not tonight, okay? I need to, ah, recover,’ I said. I felt like an idiot now.

Two other paras looked at me, gave each other a look, and then wheeled the cart around behind the ambulance and started loading it into the rear door.

‘Here’s my card. Call me,’ said Janet, and she held it out to me.

I looked at it and back at her. Didn’t she realise I couldn’t take it? The edge of her smile slowly lifted, and I realised she was getting back at me as best she could right then. After letting it sink in, she flipped the card vertically and dropped it into my shirt pocket.

‘Don’t plan on pizza. I expect a decent apology,’ she gently warned.

‘I’m kind of new to town,’ I said.

‘Then I’ll pick the restaurant and you can pay,’ she said, smiling, as the back of the ambulance started to close. ‘I think your partner is waiting for you.’

I turned to look at the half-closed door of the ambulance then, and saw what she was referring to. I could just make out Jeremy, with an annoyed look on his face.

‘Yeah, all right. Well, I’ll call you once I’m recovered,’ I offered.

‘Do that,’ Janet said.

‘Yeah, I’ll see you then.’

It’s difficult to walk off nonchalantly when your arms are effectively spastic and paralysed. It’s even more difficult to get into the cab, and it’s impossible to close the door. I was just angling to attempt to look even more stupid and pull it in with my foot, when one of the paras came around and closed it for me.

‘Thanks,’ I called out of the window, not game to stick my head too far out without my arms working.

‘Don’t wait too long,’ I heard Janet’s voice, as Jeremy pushed the accelerator and the ambulance started forward, causing me to bump my head on the door frame.

‘Did you just pick that lady up?’ Jeremy asked, as I pulled my head back into the cab. He didn’t sound impressed.

‘Janet?’ I asked.

‘No, the ghost you saw in your fucking dreams,’ Jeremy sarcastically responded. ‘Of course Janet.’

‘Ahh, yeah, I think she picked me up actually,’ I said. ‘I owe her a dinner it seems.’

‘Dinner? You’re shitting me. You’ve been here what, two weeks? All that in training, and now you come out here first day on the job and you pick up the para chick, just like that?’

‘It kind of seems that way,’ I said.

I almost fell over into Jeremy’s lap as he turned a little harder than expected into the next street.

‘Damn, you’ve got balls, is all I can say. Let’s see how long you last.’ Jeremy started to whistle as he made his way onto an on-ramp.

GENRE: Paranormal Romance

About the Book

Trapped by a future she refuses to face…

Accused of cyber espionage by the United States government, ethical hacker Ivy Macpherson is now on the FBI’s most wanted list. Out of options, she runs, desperate for time to prove her innocence. When fate takes an unexpected turn, bringing her face-to-face with Tydrin, she must decide—trust a man more dangerous than the hunters on her trail to keep her safe. Or risk capture by a covert agency well known for ruthlessness.

Condemned by a past he doesn’t want to remember…

Cursed with a terrible temper, Scottish dragon-warrior Tydrin struggles to atone for a mistake that took innocent lives. Unable to forgive himself, he returns to the scene of his crime in hopes of finding absolution, but discovers a woman in need of his help instead. Intervening in the nick of time, he whisks Ivy to safety, only to realize the daughter of the family he wronged is the one destined to steal his heart.

Feet rooted to the ground, Tydrin stared at the female. He blinked to clear his vision. Nothing. No change in his visual field and—bloody hell. It couldn’t be. He must be seeing things. Must be imagining the impossible. But no matter how many times he forced himself to refocus, nothing changed. She remained front and center, kneeling in the dirt, head bowed, hands resting on her thighs. The submissive position drew him tight, messing with his ability to think for a second.

Tydrin shook his head.

The movement knocked brain cells into motion and…Good Christ. Unbelievable. She was real. He wasn’t imagining her. Or the radiating warmth frothing around her like sea foam. Glowing bright blue, the female’s aura lit up the space around her. Her bio-energy hummed and his dragon half woke, setting off a dangerous chain reaction. Bone-deep hunger punched through. His body came alive. His mind dulled, blocking out everything but her. Long red hair pulled into a messy bun, she shuffled closer to the headstone. Mumbling another apology, she cleared debris away from the granite base. The task was one he usually preformed. On this date, every year when he visited. Right now, though, he didn’t care about his mission.

Or about paying his respects.

Struck stupid by her, only one thought registered—a high-energy female here…in middle the of Aberdeen.

Tydrin frowned. Holy shite. He was in trouble. Neck deep and sinking fast without any idea how to control his reaction to her.

Alcohol, drugs, and an endless stream of available and willing woman push Quill to his limits of restraint. Soon Quill’s feeling of responsibility for his family threatens to take him and the band down. Struggling against his demons Quill must learn to take what he wants before it’s too late.

excerpt (2)

Sweat trailed down Quill’s back, his hair matted to his forehead, the rays of the overhead lights were hotter than the face of the sun but the screams from the row of girls, five deep in front of the stage were making it all worth it.
He pulled the microphone out of its stand. His band, Pick-Six was on the last songs of the set. The rush adrenaline laced with anxiety was the high Quill used to get him through the nerves threatening to destroy each performance.
“It will get easier,” Simon, their manager said before each gig.
It hadn’t.
Each night Quill tried to figure out how he’d ended up the lead singer of a band he’d watched at the local rave bar. Each night he fought his inner demons so he could get through another performance without allowing himself a hit, a drink, or a hard screw. He’d sworn off any type of crutch to get him through. However he’d done it before the band hit it big and he was thrust in front of an overflowing bar full of people every night. He was going to face his fears and God only knew—his feelings—head on even if it killed him.
No more burying.
No more hiding.
And if people didn’t like it they could go fuck themselves.

“I’m sorry,” she whispered, not sure why. It wasn’t like it was her fault.

His chin tilted in her direction. Shadows played chase across that beautifully defined lines of his face from the kitchen lights breaking through the windows. They glimmered off the velvety surface of his breathtaking eyes and collected in dark pools in the hollows of his cheeks and temples. She stared hypnotized as he studied her.

“What are you doing, Addy?”

Having not been doing anything, Addy gave a start at the gruff demand. Her thought scattered as she tried to think.

“I’m not—”

Surprisingly warm fingers cut through the space between them and ghosted lightly along the side of her cheek. The feather light caress rocked her all the way to her toes.

The light shifted and she could just make out the slow curl of his lips. “You just can’t seem to make up your mind which one to call me, can you?” The fingers drifted back and curled around the nape of her neck. She was dragged to him and positioned with her hips cradled between hard thighs. “If it makes any difference, the way you breathe my name, the way you say it with just a hint of pleading, makes me all kinds of crazy with the need to devour you.”

His fingers tightened in her hair, locking her in place, helpless to do anything more than allow it when he pulled her closer. Her hands flew to his shoulders.

“Kiss me, Addy.”

She should have said no. Commonsense demanded it. Logic and rationality insisted. But his mouth was right there, a delicious, taunting sin begging her for just one taste.

Her fingers curled into the material of his sweater, gripping him like a life preserver even as he was the one pulling her under. Her body dipped into his, no longer under her control. His heady scent of man, soap, and cheesecake consumed what little sense she had remaining.

She kissed him.

His entire life shatters, threatening to return him to the darkness he came from. The light-heavyweight champion is about to face the fight of a lifetime. He can only hope to make it through each round without losing the few things he has left.

  1. Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m nineteen (almost twenty!) and a total nerd; I could tell you pretty much anything about Harry Potter. I’m a junior in university studying sociology and Biblical studies. It’s a pretty far cry from the kind of stuff I write though! I am a complete and total cat lady, no shame, and I’m addicted to Red Bull. I’m also significantly funnier in person, minus the intense sarcasm
that I have no control over.
  1. What inspired you to write your first book?
It was actually a weird mix of binge watching the Lord of the Rings movies and the movie Stardust. I got into this whole phase where I was obsessed with elves, princesses and fantasy kind of stuff. One day, I basically came up with this storyline
that I wanted to see played out so I decided to write it. Three, maybe four, drafts later and I came up with Teasing Fate.
  1. How did you come up with the title of If I Seem Dangerous?
My favorite band, Imagine Dragons, has a song called “Monster.” When I was in the beginning stages of writing the book, I was listening to the song on repeat. I was trying to think of a title that fit the book and there was one line in the song just stuck out to me. It went, “If I seem dangerous, would you be scared?” It just really made me think of Noah and how he is with Caitlyn.
  1. Describe your main character in five words.
Okay, that’s tough… Probably, strong, dark, protective, fighter, passionate.
  1. What was one of the most surprising things you learned in writing If I Seem Dangerous?
I don’t think it was something totally new to me, but I guess I was just surprised to see how people can fight their way out of some really low lows. Noah might be fictitious, but he was very representative of some people in my life.
  1. Have you ever done anything strange or weird in the name of research?
Let’s just say that I am now a part of multiple pregnancy websites and my search history makes it look like I’m planning a murder.
  1. How long does it take you to write a book?
Good question. If I have time, not long at all. A month or two. If I’m working or in school it takes significantly longer, maybe even a full year.
  1. Can you share a little of your current work with us?
Okay, one book I’m currently writing is really steamy; it’s a spin-off of one of my other novels. The main character shows and rides horses competitively and ends up falling in lust with her riding instructor. Things get hot and heavy for most of the novel.
  1. What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?
Non-existent. Okay, that’s not true but it feels like it. I try and set aside time for writing, but that doesn’t always happen. It basically turns into me just writing whenever I have time, between classes, in class (don’t tell), during meals. I just jot stuff down as much as possible.
  1. Do you have any writing rituals?
I pull out the lovely iPad and turn on something to have playing in the background, usually one of the Real Housewives TV shows or Project runway, get something to drink (Red Bull!!!) and cuddle with a blanket then I’m set!
  1. What book are you reading now?
Shiver by Maggie Steifvater. She’s one of my favorite authors.
  1. Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love all of you brilliant people and your support means the world. I was so terrified of sharing my writing for so long, but having such amazing readers has made every second worth it. Thanks for giving me the courage to keep writing.

Random Questions:
  1. What’s in your fridge right now?
Water. That’s it. I’m a poor college student.
  1. What song do you sing at the top of your voice every time you hear it?
Ooooh… Easy. It’s Time by Imagine Dragons. Hands down my favorite song ever. I’ve even got some of the lyrics tattooed on my ribs.
  1. Other than writing, what special or unusual talent(s) do you have?
I’m rather boring really… I’ve got two horses that I jump, which is kind of special and I’ve got a black belt in karate so that’s kind of cool too.
  1. Where did you last go on holiday?
Carmel-by-the-sea! It’s this small beach about two hours away from my house that my mom and I have gone to since I was a baby. We usually go there when we need an escape.
  1. If feral aliens attacked your house and they were zapping your home with their Über super bombs, what five items would you save?
Can we count my cats and dogs as one item? I’m going to. So, cats, dogs, my laptop probably, phone and my mom for sure. Well, those are the things I would want with me. It would probably be pretty hard to carry them all!
  1. If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?
The Cat Lady. ‘nough said.
Rose Sawyer currently lives on campus full time while working on her undergraduate degree in Biblical and Religious studies with an emphasis on Religion and Sociology in California, where she was born and raised.
